M.A.R. Reporting Group, LLC is an independently owned reporting agency serving Northern Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Mario A. Rodriguez, CMRS, CCR, a professional stenotype reporter for 17 years, is the president of M.A.R. Reporting Group. He is a member of the National Court Reporters Association and serves as an elected committee member on the National Committee of State Associations (NCSA).

Mr. Rodriguez currently serves as the immediate past president of the Virginia Court Reporters Association. He is also a delegate representing Virginia at NCSA annual meetings and is Chairman of VCRA's Community Services/Pro Bono Committee.

After completing his training at the Court Reporting Institute of Dallas in 1987, he relocated to Washington, D.C. as a freelance reporter. In 1994, he established the one-person freelance agency called M.A.R. Reporting Company; then in October 1997, incorporated and changed the company name and structure to its present-day setup.

The firm has quickly grown from a one-person freelance shop to a network of professional stenotype reporters, litigation support specialists, editors, videographers, typists and proofreaders. The firm offers a courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and responsive staff. Today, M.A.R. Reporting Group has 16 full-time employees.

M.A.R. Reporting Group is an active member of the Arlington County Chamber of Commerce and is proud to have been nominated in 1998, 1999 and 2000 as Arlington County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year. The company is also a member of the City of Falls Church Chamber of Commerce.
